Reverse Osmosis (RO) Drinking Water Filter

A Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Filter System is a terrific way to have an on-hand supply of high-quality purified drinking water. It is a multi-stage water filter. Once purified the water is stored in an expansion bladder tank. A separate faucet dispenses the reverse osmosis purified water. One drawback of this type of filter system is that it wastes a lot of water in the filtering process. It typically wastes four to five gallons of water to create one gallon of purified water. As it purifies it dumps water with contaminated elements down the drain. Reverse Osmosis is considered one of the better filter systems available for filtering high quality purified water.

An Installation Tip

I installed longer sections of tubing on this filter system. It allows me to remove the filter system from below the sink base cabinet. In this way, it becomes much easier to change filter cartridges.
A Reverse Osmosis Filter is a wonderful way to get purified drinking water!
