Washing Machine Hook Up Repair

When the valves in your laundry connection valve box start to leak you need a washing machine hook up repair. The plastic housing of the valve box is designed to funnel small drips to the drain. Plastic gets brittle with age and can easily crack. When your plastic housing cracks, any drips that would have run to the drain now run inside your wall. If your valves leak and your box is cracked, you have an urgent need to replace your valve box, so water does not leak directly into the wall and damage your home.

Laundry Connection Valve Box

A washing machine connection box is a utility valve box with a drain and two valves. The drain hose from your washer discharges into the standpipe connected to your valve box. The valves connect to your hot and cold rough water piping inside the wall. Once installed you will need a set of hoses to connect your washing machine to your washing machine hook up box.

A Properly Working Valve Box Gives You Convenience and Control

I have many customers who turn their laundry hook up valves off when they leave town. It is important to have accessible valves to shut off your washing machine in case of emergency as well as whenever your machine needs service. Your valve box is a great way to have convenience and control over your wash machine’s connection to your home plumbing system.
